1. General
These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of tickets for events organised by Lickey End Social Club (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Ticket Purchases
- All ticket sales are subject to availability.
- Tickets are only valid when purchased through authorised sales channels.
- The purchaser is responsible for checking ticket details upon receipt.
- Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain without our prior written consent.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are stated in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time.
4. Refunds and Exchanges
- Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated in these terms.
- Requests to transfer tickets to another person may be considered at our discretion.
- If an event is cancelled by us, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid.
- Booking fees and transaction charges may be non-refundable unless required by law.
5. Event Changes
- We reserve the right to make changes to the event programme, speakers, venue, timings, or other event details where reasonably necessary.
- Such changes shall not automatically entitle ticket holders to a refund.
6. Entry Requirements
- Valid proof of ticket purchase must be presented for admission.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove attendees whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, illegal, or offensive.
- Admission may be subject to venue rules and security checks.
7. Cancellation or Postponement
- If an event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date where possible.
- Where attendance at the rescheduled event is not possible, refunds may be offered at our discretion.
- Our liability is limited to the face value of the ticket purchased.
8. Attendee Responsibility
- Attendees participate at their own risk.
- Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings.
- We accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
9. Photography and Recording
- Photographs, audio recordings, and video footage may be taken during the event.
- By attending, you consent to the use of your image and likeness for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes unless you notify us otherwise before the event.
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government action, public health emergencies, strikes, or venue unavailability.
11. Limitation of Liability
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Subject to the above, our liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the ticket.
12. Data Protection
Personal information provided during the booking process will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
