After a couple of weeks off, the Lickey End A Team resumed darts duties in the league this week facing off against Catshill Club at Home. The B Team had another bye this week

Catshill started strongly and raced into a 0-2 lead in the first two games. Ed McManus struggled in his first leg then levelled before losing a tight one 1-2. In game 2 Geoff Nokes lost 0-2 to a Catshill that seemed hungry for revenge of their defeat to Lickey last time out.

In Game 3, Paul (Rosie) Read played out a scrappy affair but got Lickey End on the board winning 2-1. Then in Game 5, Russ Tolley drew us level with a strong 2-0 win.

Game 5 was the best match of the night. Steve Groves went to-to-toe with their best player with some feisty power scoring keeping the crowd entertained. In a close game, Steve had darts for the win but missed and Catshill nicked it 1-2

In Game 6, Gaz Troth dug out a great win for Lickey to see both teams level 3-3 going into the doubles.
Game 7 saw Paul Prince and Steve fight out a 1-2 loss in a game peppered with ton+ scores and a 180 from Catshill. Russ Tolley and Jim Mildner lost 0-2 in game 8 handing the revenge win to Catshill and in last game Gaz and Rosie lost 0-2
Final score 3-6
